Applications to be added to the voter checklist are available at the Town Clerks Office, online at vote.vermont.gov or call or email the Town Clerk’s office for assistance.

Early or Absentee Voting

Absentee ballots can be requested via the voter portal, email to the town clerk, or via phone request to the Town Clerk’s Office. Voter Portal: vote.vermont.gov, townclerk@thetfordvt.gov or 802-785-2922

You can request an absentee ballot through your voter registration portal at vote.vermont.gov or through your Clerk's office.

Town Meeting Day 2027 will be held on Saturday, February 27th, 2027. 

Local Election Day in 2027 will be on Tuesday, March 2nd, 2027.
