SQC = SemiQuinCentennial = half of five hundred = 250

The year 2026 marks the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence and the formation of the United States of America.

Thetford SQC is an ad hoc group organizing community events in all of the villages of Thetford in 2026. Activities are supported by the Brian J Boland Memorial Foundation, and with a grant from the Vermont Arts Council, which receives support in part from the National Endowment for the Arts, a federal agency, and the State of Vermont 250th Anniversary Celebration Commission.
